About the project area

The existing vegetation is grassland and scattered and grouped trees in the galleries of streams and watercourses. The soil has a loamy texture of medium to high fertility.

The properties have good topography, good soil and climate. Access and proximity to the Panamericana are good. These fincas are adjacent to the Filo de Tallo Water Conservation Area, which is of great importance to the region. There are no known conflicts in this area and there is the possibility to buy more land from the neighbors.

“Once they are fully mature the trees will discard their seeds, and new saplings will grow. That will take place in our generation, and it will continue so down through the years.”
